Tina Chilip has performed in plays and musicals all around the bay area, with companies such as Marin Shakespeare, TheatreWorks, Willows Theatre, and Pacific Alliance Stage. As a theatre educator, she taught for both San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and Marin Shakespeare Company. She also spent two seasons with the Red Ladder Theatre Company, San Jose RepertoryÔs social outreach group, where she facilitated improvisational workshops with at-risk youths, inmates, developmentally disabled students, etc. Her work there also helped to develop arts-based programs with low-income schools and trained them to use theatre as an educational tool. Outside of theatre, Tina has worked as an IT consultant and web producer. She grew up in Manila, Philippines and graduated with honors from Santa Clara University. She now resides in Providence, Rhode Island where she is pursuing her graduate studies at Brown University.
