Ian Michael
Enriquez Scottish-Filipino actor born and
raised in the Philippines. Got his start at a
young age in the Philippines as a Page Boy in
a production of Rumplestiltskin. Went to college
in Oberlin, Ohio where he studied African Dance,
sang in several co-ed a'cappella groups, and helped
start the Oberlin Musical Theater Association.
Primary study was cultural sociology. This is
where he developed a passion for the performing
arts with a cultural emphasis, pursuing African-American
arts in Ohio, arts relating to the gay culture
in London, and Asian-American projects in San
Francisco. Moved to London to study prejudice
and discrimination, and dance with the London
Marching Boys for three consecutive years. Also
sang with the London Gay Men's Chorus. Moved to
San Francisco, dabbled in theater and film, revived
the GAPA Dance Troupe, got a Master's in Counseling,
and is currently working as a counselor at Lincoln
High School.
