Samantha Chanse has been living in the sf bay since january 2001, when she packed her shit into a car and left rhode islandÕs relaxed smoking regulations, humid summers, and coffee milk behind her. Most recently, sheÕs acted in the Bindlestiff Pinay CollectiveÕs production of SummerÕs EveÑwhich included the film Pinaytration, BindlestiffÕs Egg Show and Midnight Mass 2001, and AATCÕs production of Michael PremsriratÕs The Clouds, The Ocean, and Everything In Between. SheÕs the co-program director of Locus 1640 Post and was the 2002 coordinator of Kearny Street WorkshopÕs Apature. In her writerly capacity, some of her sketches appeared in Bindlestiff shows, and a few of her pieces have run in ColorLines Magazine. born & raised in nyc, samantha chanse misses the 24-hour public transport & pedestrian lifestyle.
