SYNOPSIS
Shot in a cinema-verite style, MY FATHER THE ACTOR tells a bittersweet tale about
an older man who struggles to make it as an actor. Fed up with rejection he turns to
conning people as a way to earn a living while at the same time exercising his acting skills.
When his youngest daughter begs for more attention he must decide whether to be a
responsible father or continue his starring role in the world he has set as his stage.
